Hiring the Theatre

The Theatre is available for hire for a wide range of functions. It is ideally suited for musical concerts and lectures but it has been used for school events, for opening and closing sessions of conferences and it has been the location for a number of famous film sequences. The Custodian, Maggie Burge, welcomes enquiries from organisers of events of all kinds and not only those mentioned above.

The design of this world class architectural structure allows  members of the audience to have good views of the performance area and because of its unusual design and size, they can be in close proximity. It has a very good natural acoustic and its public address system is being significantly upgraded in 2010.
