Why you should attend the Leavers' Fair in June

6-8 June, Assembly Room, Oxford Town Hall

If there’s one thing you need to do before you leave Oxford at the end of your degree, it is to come along to the University of Oxford Leavers' Fair and pick up your Alumni Card. The Leavers’ Fair will take place on 6th, 7th, and 8th June in the Assembly Room at the Oxford Town Hall.

Your alumni card is your connection to Oxford. It unlocks discounts and benefits, such as access to online journals like JSTOR and generous discounts on books at Blackwell’s, as well as identifying you as having a connection with Oxford to those on college or department premises when you return.

The card will also allow you to register for our online social network, the Oxford Alumni Community, where you can use the directory to find other alumni at the same college or degree programme as you, offer or seek advice and mentoring to fellow alumni and students, and also look for jobs.

But it’s not just about collecting your alumni card. There will be an opportunity to use your Blackwell’s bookshop discount, collect a special edition Leavers 2018 t-shirt (available on pre-order), have 1-2-1 careers advice sessions, and hear from the Oxford & Cambridge Club and Oxford Foundry.

Most importantly, we want to stay connected to you. At the fair you will have the opportunity to sign up to hear about what the University can do for you post-graduation and what the University is up to the areas of research, innovation, and impact.

Make sure you don’t miss out – join us on either 6th, 7th, or 8th June at the Oxford Town Hall. To find out more about timings and other information, please visit: www.alumni.ox.ac.uk/leavers
