The entitlement to your full range of University IT Services continues until the expiry date on your University Card. You can set your University email account to forward your email to a new address for a further two months following the Card expiry, providing this is carried out before your University Card expires.
Access your academic information
Student Self Service will be available to you for six months following the completion of your course. Please update your contact details, particularly your future contact email address, before you leave to ensure that you continue to receive important correspondence from the University. Graduate students will be able to access their Graduate Supervision System (GSS) reports and undergraduate students will be able to access their OxCORT tutorial reports (subject to college agreement) for six months following course completion.
Single sign-on (SSO) access to eVision for research post graduates is available for 10 months post University card expiry to allow sufficient time for you to book your degree ceremony in the event of delays to course completion and right to supplicate. Access does not extend to other resources such as library resources or email accounts; the entitlement to the full range of University IT Services continues until the expiry date on your University Card.
Admission to Oxford library services

Alumni relations
At the Alumni Office here in Oxford and in our regional offices in North America, China and Japan, it’s our job to support you once your course comes to an end.
We’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 200,000-strong community of Oxonians, which spans more than 80 countries around the world, and supports the sharing of knowledge, the broadening of networks and gives you ongoing access to some of the world’s greatest intellectual resources.
The Alumni Office sends regular emails to undergraduate and taught masters finalists throughout Trinity Term detailing the important steps you need to take before you leave in order to tap in to this network. This includes information on updating your contact details in Student Self Service, your Oxford Alumni Card and the Alumni email forwarding service. Find out more from the Alumni Office website.
Career planning
The Careers Service can provide you with comprehensive support in your career planning and management. As an Oxford Alumnus you can attend careers events, fairs, workshops and company presentations. Your student account on CareerConnect will switch to an alumni account when your Bod card expires, ensuring you stay up-to-date with job vacancies, events, skills sessions, fairs and resources on job sectors, applications and international opportunities.
A series of sector-specific Professional Networking Events are also offered by the Alumni Office to help connect you with alumni working in your field of interest.

Oxford Careers Network
The Oxford Careers Network (OCN) is a database of former Oxford students who have volunteered to share their experiences of life after Oxford. By becoming part of this network you can help students with their career choices and life beyond their degree. Volunteers represent a broad range of occupations including the legal sector, journalism, development, medicine, media, music and business.
Verifying qualifications
The Degree Conferrals Office will respond to requests for information on educational attainments from employers or prospective employers or from other educational institutions, funding bodies or recognised voluntary organisations. Information may include, for example, confirmation of degree awarded, and dates of attendance, subjects studied.
The Oxford Master of Arts
If you have completed a BA or BFA you will be eligible to take an MA in or after the 21st term since you matriculated (i.e. seven years after matriculation). This is not an automatic process and to obtain your MA you must apply to graduate at a degree ceremony (either in person or in absentia). You must have had your BA or BFA conferred in order to take your MA. They can be conferred at the same ceremony provided that sufficient time has elapsed since you matriculated. You should book for a Degree Day through your college in the usual way. You are not at any point eligible to take an MA if your undergraduate degree is an undergraduate Masters degree. Please note the Oxford MA is not an upgrade of your BA and has no subject or class. We do not issue Degree Confirmation letters as proof of your MA, please use your Degree Certificate as evidence of this award.
