Wiener Anspach Scholarships

The Philippe Wiener-Maurice Anspach Foundation aims to promote cultural relations between the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) [Free University of Brussels] and the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

Award information

Since 1969 the Foundation has offered awards each year to students from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge to study in Brussels.

Award details

Duration:Between six months and one year
Value:€ 1.800 per month plus registration fees to the ULB and for the International Certificate in Doctoral Research Training

Eligibility

Nationality:All nationalities
Fee status:Home/EU and Overseas
Level of study:Graduate students registered on a DPhil programme
Year of study:Scholarships are only granted to students who have successfully transferred to full DPhil status before the start of the exchange.
Subject:All subjects
College:All colleges
Other criteria:The award is available to graduate students interested in conducting DPhil research in any department at the Free University of Brussels.

How to apply

  1. Applications are currently open for the 2017/18 academic year.
  2. Applications must be submitted by Friday 2nd December 2016 directly to the Wiener-Anspach Foundation.
  3. Selection process undertaken by the Wiener-Anspach Foundation. Students will be informed of the outcome of the application by the Wiener-Anspach Foundation.
