Autumn open forums where all pension issues can be discussed, including the work of the University’s own USS Review Working Group. As part of this commitment, several panel discussions and consultations have been arranged, each session will be filmed and shared below:
Hosted by Julian Duxfield, Director of Human Resources, and Jan Killick, Head of Pensions.
The USS pension scheme trustees have proposed contribution increases from both employers and employees from 1 April 2019. The next step as part of this proposal is for employers to undertake a consultation starting on 3 September 2018 on the contribution increases.
Four information sessions on the USS cost-sharing agreement and the impact of the proposed phased increases in contributions were held across the city. Each lasting for an hour, the consultations will provided an opportunity to hear about the changes and how they affect you.
The same presentation was used across all four sessions, this is will be made available shorty.
