1. Divinity School

The original wooden door which leads from the Proscholium (the main entrance of the Old Bodleian) to the Divinity School. The Divinity School is the University’s oldest teaching and examination room, and was completed in 1488 to house theology lectures. It is now part of the Bodleian, and is mainly used for receptions.
