19. St Anne's
A door leading from the quad of St Anne’s College to Hartland House. Grade II listed Hartland House, designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, was the first purpose-built college building. Construction work began in 1937 and finished with an addition to the eastern end in 1973. As part of a new development, which will see the existing Gatehouse demolished and a new library built, Hartland House will become visible from Woodstock Road.
