13. Corpus

The door leads from the main quad in Corpus Christi College to the Screens Passage and the Hall. The doorway has roundels in the spandrels decorated with the arms of Richard Fox, bishop of Winchester and adviser to King Henry VII, who founded the college in 1517. The main quad of the College, with its tower, dining hall, library and adjoining chapel, was planned and completed under Fox's guidance.
