12. Lincoln

The entrance to a passageway in Lincoln College, linking the Front Quad and the Grove, which was once the College garden. The passageway skirts the Beckington Room on the right, which was part of the old Rector’s Lodgings, constructed in the fifteenth century with money provided by the executors of Bishop Beckington of Bath and Wells. The Beckington Room is now used for meetings of the College Governing Body.
