Changes to the webauth pages

Oxford University logo

On Tuesday 13 August changes are being made to webauth, the University webpages where you type in your Oxford account credentials. Webauth is used to access services such as Nexus email, WebLearn and restricted content on the University website.

The appearance of the pages is changing so that they work better with smaller screened devices such as tablets and phones and so they are consistent with the new branding used for webpages of other services provided by IT Services.

Over the past few years there has been significant work to raise awareness across the University about IT security, including warnings against entering your account credentials in a page you do not recognise. IT Services is therefore wishing to reassure members of the University that the new-look webauth.ox.ac.uk pages are authentic.

Further information, including screenshots of the old and new pages, can be found on the IT Services website. All departmental and college IT staff are fully informed about the changes. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to your local IT staff in the first instance.
