Making a video diary about research impact

Video camera on a tripod

Do you have a strong story to tell about how your research benefits people and society? Does your research involve working with policymakers or partners in industry? And does your story have a strong visual component?

If so, you may be interested in making a video diary about your work to help showcase Oxford’s research impact. Training, equipment and IT support are available from the Online Media Production team in Public Affairs.

Free workshops are being run for researchers to explore the field of video diary making, and discuss what Oxford, the BBC and others are doing to give researchers a chance to tell their story:

  • Friday 11 October, 1pm-2pm, Room 3, University Offices, Wellington Square
  • Monday 4 November, 1pm-2pm, Room 3, University Offices, Wellington Square

To book a place, email caroline.bucklow@admin.ox.ac.uk. If you have any questions about the workshop or about video-making in general, contact tom.wilkinson@admin.ox.ac.uk.
