Tower Poetry Competition 2012

Is your son or daughter a budding poet? The 2012 Christopher Tower Poetry Competition is now open for entries, with students asked to write a poem of no more than 48 lines on the theme of 'Voyages'.
Organised by Christ Church, the Tower Poetry Competition is the the UK’s most valuable prize for young poets. The entries will be judged by poets Christopher Reid, Don Paterson and Peter McDonald, with the winners receiving £3,000, £1,000 and £500 and their schools also receiving cash prizes.
The competition is open to 16-18 year-olds who are in full or part-time education. The closing date for entries is Friday 2 March. Further information is available on the Tower Poetry Competition website.
