University IT staff have donated over £1,000 to local charity Helen & Douglas House as part of their annual conference.
The ICTF conference, which brought together IT staff from across the University on 5 July, included a prize draw for charity, and participants overwhelmingly nominated Helen & Douglas House - a hospice for children and young adults based in East Oxford - as the preferred recipient.

Commenting on the donation, Tony Brett, Head of IT Support Staff Services, said: "I'm delighted that Oxford’s IT staff have given so generously to such a well-deserving local charity. Their generosity is testament to the many ways in which University staff contribute to the local community."
