The Mobile Mechanic scheme offers free bike repairs for University staff who cycle to work.

The Mobile Mechanic offers servicing and minor repairs (e.g. punctures, brakes and gears) at the following locations:

• Wednesdays, 09.00 - 16.00, University Club, Mansfield Road
• Fridays, 09.00 - 12.00, Old Road Campus (between the restaurant and the back of the Rosemary Rue Building)
• 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, 08.30 onwards at St Cross/Manor Rd Buildings car park 
• 2nd Tuesday of the month , 08.30 onwards at the Maths Institute at 24-29 St Giles (access via Blackhall Road)
• 4th Tuesday of the month, 08.30 onwards at Dartington House, Little Clarendon Street (use buzzer 10 for access)

A limited number of slots are available at each location so you are advised to turn up early. Labour charges are free (on presentation of your University card), but any new parts will be charged for.
