An evening with Grayson Perry, Jay Rayner, Gareth Malone and Rachel Tucker on Monday 24 September at the New Theatre. All funds from the evening will be donated to Afghan Connection.
Gareth Malone, renowned Choirmaster and the show’s host, is joined by Grayson Perry, award-winning artist, Bafta-winning TV presenter and bestselling author.
The show also features Jay Rayner, a restaurant critic who has learnt that people adore reviews of bad restaurants and Rachel Tucker, the West End’s leading lady who rose to fame as a finalist on the BBC One show I’d Do Anything.
The show includes Grayson's discussion of ‘cultural division’ in the topsy-turvy world of Brexit, Trump and whatever else is thrown at us before September.
Jay will examine our love affair with lousy reviews and reads from accounts of some of the most excruciating nights out he’s ever had – and looks at the worst reviews his own work has ever received.
Accompanied by Gareth Malone, Rachel sings songs from her best known work.
