Oxford: July railway line closure

The railway line running through Oxford station will close between 6 and 23 July while Network Rail upgrades signals and track.

Ultimately this should reduce journey times and make travelling to and from Oxford by train more reliable, but while the works are taking place there will be disruption to train services. No trains will run out of Oxford Station during this period.

Rail replacement buses will run between Didcot, Oxford and Banbury, and Chiltern Railways services between Banbury, Oxford Parkway and London Marylebone are expected to run as normal.

Please visit the Network  Rail website for more information about the planned closures and their impact.
