Pint of Science brings scientists out of the lab and in to your local Oxford pub. More than 30 scientists will appear in city watering holes, as the world's largest festival of public science talks arrives in Oxford from 14 - 16 May 2018.
Oxford researchers will talk about a variety of topics at public places across the city: St Aldates Tavern, Turl Street Kitchen, The Jericho Tavern, Oxford Retreat, House Bar, and Wig and Pen. Attendees will enjoy a variety of exciting talks including:
- The Science of Fatherhood – with Anna Machin
- Brexit: what’s going on? – with Anand Menon
- How cybercriminals exploit us...and what we can do about it! – with Jason Nurse
Alongside the main talks, each evening will also include a range of science-inspired activities including live experiments, quizzes, games, geeky puzzles, and other activities.
Tickets are available from the Pint of Science website, with each evening costing just £4.
