In the 56th Cherwell-Simon Lecture, Professor Lisa Randall, Frank B Baird Jr Professor of Science at Harvard University, will explore her speculative hypothesis in which the comet that may have triggered the mass extinction of the dinosaurs was dislodged from the Oort cloud at the edge of our solar system by a disk of dark matter.
