The Jericho health centre, now formally known as New Radcliffe House, will be opening in July.

Prints and drawings by artist Weimin He will be on view between 14-20 May at the former Outpatients' Building on Woodstock Road, OX2 6HE. The exhibition will be open between 12 noon and 5.30pm each day. Weimin He is artist-in-residence for the Oxford University Estates Directorate. This event is part of Oxfordshire Artweeks
March 2012
A retrospective of photographs of the demolition of the old Radcliffe Hospital site took place March 1-23 at Art Jericho, King Street, Oxford OX2 6DF. Local photographer Rob Judges had exclusive access to the site. He explored the empty rooms and roofless corridors, discovering the hidden framework of the old buildings and revealing signs of the people who had worked there.

The University announces that the Blavatnik School of Government will be located on the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter site, overlooking Walton Street.

If you would like to find out more about our plans we will be holding a public exhibition in St Luke’s Chapel during Oxford Open Doors weekend. The exhibition will be open between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September. Oxford Open Doors is organised by the Oxford Preservation Trust in partnership with the University of Oxford.

A ground breaking ceremony for the Mathematical Institute took place on Tuesday 2 August.
May 2011
The complete refurbishment of the Radcliffe Infirmary building, including the courtyard and the fountain, got underway with completion due in the summer of 2012. The building will be occupied by the Humanities Divisional Office, the Faculty of Philosophy and the Philosophy and Theology Libraries.
Work on the new local health centre began.
January 2011
On 13 and 14 January there was a public exhibition about proposals to re-house the existing Jericho Health Centre on Walton Street within a new building on the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter site.
September 2010
As part of the Oxford Open Doors weekend the public is given access to St Luke's Chapel, containing a display of the University's plans for the ROQ site, and the first floor boardroom of the Infirmary on Saturday and Sunday 11-12 September.
July 2010
Construction of the new student accommodation at Somerville College began.
May 2010
Planning permission was granted by Oxford City Council for the Mathematical Institute Building and the Humanities Building.
April 2010
Enabling works began on the new student accommodation at Somerville College.
January 2010
Laing O’Rourke is appointed as the contractor for Somerville College's new student accommodation buildings on the site of the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter.
November 2009
An application for planning permission was submitted for the Mathematical Institute Building and Humanities Buildings.
October 2009
A public exhibition about the second phase of the development - the Mathematical Institute Building and Humanities Building - took place on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 October 2009.
September 2009
Planning permission was granted for the refurbishment of the Radcliffe Infirmary and St Luke's Chapel; the remodelling and refurbishment of the Outpatients' Building; new buildings for Somerville College, and an east/west link for pedestrians connecting Walton Street with Woodstock Road.
June 2009
Demolition was completed.
February 2009
Somerville College and the University submit planning and listed building applications to Oxford City Council in February, following a public exhibition in January.
January 2009
A public exhibition about the first phase of the Masterplan was held on 26 and 27 January at Somerville College.
The exhibition focused on the rejuvenation of the Radcliffe Infirmary, Outpatients' building and St Luke’s Chapel, additions to Somerville College and a new pedestrian street linking Woodstock Road with Walton Street.
The local community had the opportunity to inspect the proposals prior to planning and listed building applications being submitted to Oxford City Council.
