ROQ
Refurbishment of the Radcliffe Infirmary, Outpatients' Building and St Luke’s Chapel
One of the major projects on the ROQ site is the refurbishment of the main listed buildings on the site. These include the 1770 Radcliffe Infirmary building, the 1913 Outpatients’ building, the 1858 fountain of Triton, and the 1865 St Luke’s Chapel.
The fountain is being relined and its statue is being repaired. The statue will return to the site in the summer of 2012 when the landscaping is complete.
The refurbishment of the Radcliffe Infirmary will be completed later this year. The building will be occupied by the Humanities Divisional Office, the Faculty of Philosophy and the Philosophy and Theology Libraries.
