Radcliffe Humanities

Opening event on 22 Oct 2012 of the Radcliffe Humanities building on the ROQ siteThe refurbishment of the Radcliffe Infirmary, now known as Radcliffe Humanities, was completed in August and the building was formally opened on 22 October 2012.

The building is occupied by the Humanities Divisional Office, the Faculty of Philosophy and the Philosophy and Theology Libraries.

The Radcliffe Infirmary was built in 1770.

The nearby 1913 Outpatients’ building and 1865 St Luke’s Chapel are also being preserved. A replica of the 1858 fountain of Triton was installed in the courtyard in October 2012.
