About

Professor Philippe Guérin is Director of the Infectious Diseases Data Observatory (IDDO), a scientifically independent, multi-disciplinary coalition of the global infectious disease community. He joined the WorldWide Antimalarial Research Network (WWARN) – the prototypic model for IDDO – as Director in January 2009. Professor Guérin has extensive experience working in the field for Médecins Sans Frontières; as a researcher for a Wellcome Trust Research Unit in Africa and Asia; and as a Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. Before moving to WWARN, Philippe served as Scientific Director for six years at Épicentre in Paris.
