Much of James’ research focuses on tort law, although his interests extend also to civil procedure. He is the author of over 100 publications. In addition to his academic work, James works as a barrister in London and practises in commercial law. His practice involves high-value complex litigation that usually has an international dimension. He also has experience as an expert witness.
