Louise Bloom

Research Officer, Humanitarian Innovation Project, Oxford Department of International Development


Louise Bloom has worked for the charity Engineers Without Borders UK in various capacities and trained in humanitarian logistics with Save the Children UK. She worked in Myanmar as part of the Cyclone Nargis Emergency response and in Haiti and the Dominican Republic in the aftermath of the Haiti Earthquake in 2010. Before joining the Humanitarian Innovation Project she worked in the international supply and logistics team at Oxfam. Her work there covered projects on global supply-chain process improvements, staff and partner training, evaluations and audits across Oxfam's country programmes, including in Ethiopia, Kenya, Haiti and Myanmar.
