The University has started a Twitter stream so that those on Twitter can follow Oxford news, comments and events.

The stream for the institution as a whole (http://twitter.com/uniofoxford) joins Twitter streams from the Environmental Change Institute, Saïd Business School, James Martin 21st Century School, Oxford DNB, Oxford podcasts, and others.

Oxford also has its own facebook page with over 14,000 'fans', www.facebook.com/the.university.of.oxford.
