Pack, the degree show by final year Oxford University undergraduates at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, will go on show for the first time this evening (Friday 13 June). After the private view, the students’ work will be on display to the public from Saturday 14 until Saturday 21 June.

Twenty artists will be displaying their work, which ranges from sculptures to videos, installations, and performance art. Eminent art dealers from London will be visiting the exhibition later in the week.

Head of School Michael Archer said: ‘The name Pack means everything you think it does – the students have worked together, they are hungry, the show is crammed full of art and they have packed so much work into their three years.

‘I’d encourage everyone to come along, see the show and make up their own minds about it. It takes up every part of the Ruskin building from offices to the library and they have even knocked down a wall in a professor’s room. First and second years have helped to set up the show so there’s a great atmosphere.’

The 2006 Ruskin degree show was described as 'one of the best' by the Independent newspaper. This year the students hope to continue that tradition.

The show runs from Saturday 14th June until Saturday 21st June from 10 am until 5pm at 74 High Street, Oxford.
