The 'Computing and Phones' page within the Staff Gateway has been developed especially for staff and provides information on the central IT services - such as the Nexus email system, Oracle Financials or Opendoor. The information can help you contact a help desk, book a course or find out about the IT services and tools available to you.
Local
IT support staff in your college or department provide your first level
of on-the-spot help. The majority of colleges and departments
have IT support web pages to point you in the right direction when you need some assistance. The links

OUCS offers facilities, training and advice to members of the University in all aspects
of academic computing. The department operates, develops and supports the University's primary computing systems such as the network
backbone and its external connections; the central email service (Nexus); web, news, and
backup servers; security and anti-virus support. They provide a wide range of information and services - areas which may interest staff are:

BSP manage, develop and
support core business systems within the University, such as Oracle Financials, Oracle
Student Systems (OSS), HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Development
& Alumni Relations System (DARS). BSP is part of University
Administration and Services (UAS).
