Oxford University Student Union (OUSU)

Oxford Language Centre
The Oxford Language Centre provides resources and services for members of the University who make use of foreign languages for their study, research or personal interest. It also offers English courses such as academic writing and English for social and academic purposes for international students and staff. More information can be found here: Language Centre
Staff
Support for staff is provided by your department and a range of central services. The Staff Gateway brings together information for those working at the University, and you may find the Welcome to Oxford pages particularly useful. Research Staff
There are a wide range of support services for our research staff , both to assist them in carrying out world-class research, and in their own professional development.
Research Services provide professional support to the University's researchers. They can provide advice on international sources of funding, review applications for international research funding and support negotiation of research-related contracts.

The University has been awarded the European Commission's HR Excellence in Research Award in recognition of the support it provides for researchers in their career and professional development. Legal Services
Solicitors in Legal Services provide legal advice to the University. They support academic staff on a range of issues, from drafting memoranda of understanding for international collaborations to providing advice on the right legal structures for overseas projects.
