At Oxford University, our academic work is an international
enterprise. We collaborate every day with colleagues at universities
around the world - working on joint research, organising conferences and
giving seminar papers. In many cases, this is because the best
collaborator in a specialised field is located abroad. In many other
cases, this is because another location offers unique research
opportunities.
The vast majority of such collaborations grow bottom-up
from relationships forged at the individual or departmental level. As a
result, institutions seeking to create research links with Oxford are
advised to identify areas of joint academic interest and to contact the
relevant Oxford academics directly. Those seeking guidance may also
contact the International Strategy Office.
