Social Sciences

Conferment of Title

The Social Sciences Division has, on the recommendation of the Blavatnik School of Government, conferred the title of Professor of Public Policy on Dr M Ncube, MPhil PhD Camb, with effect from 27 January 2015.

Visiting Professorships

Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences

The Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor in Chemistry upon Mark Bunnage, BSc Durh, DPhil Oxf, currently Vice-President, Head of Chemistry, Biotherapeutics Research, Pfizer USA, for a period of 3 years from 1 February 2015.

The Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor in Physics upon Stephen McMahon, BSc KCL, PhD Imp, currently Project Leader, ATLAS Tracker upgrade, for a period of 3 years from 1 February 2015.

Concert to Celebrate the Newly Restored Organ

Robert Quinney, Organist of New College, plays Bach, Buxtehude, Byrd, Leighton and Nielsen at 8.30pm on 6 March in the New College chapel to inaugurate the restoration of the chapel organ by Goetze & Gwynn.
