Congregation20 January

¶ Members of Congregation are reminded that any two members may, not later than noon on 12 January, give notice in writing to the Registrar that they intend to oppose or amend the resolution below (see the note on the conduct of business in Congregation below). If no such notice has been given, and unless Council has declared otherwise or the meeting has been adjourned, the resolution shall be carried and the meeting may be cancelled.

Voting on a Resolution authorising the use of space in 23–38 Hythe Bridge Street (Beaver House)

Explanatory Note

The Saïd Business School requires additional space to accommodate expansion of its core academic courses, including growth in its Master's degree programme. 23–38 Hythe Bridge Street (Beaver House) is adjacent to the school's main buildings and the second-floor space leased by the University is currently vacant, providing an ideal solution for this need. The school will relocate administrative staff to this building, freeing up space in its main buildings to be used for academic purposes.

Text of Resolution

That approximately 1,227 sq m net usable area on the second floor of 23–38 Hythe Bridge Street be allocated to the Saïd Business School from 21 January 2015 to 23 June 2021.
