Congregation11 March

2pm

¶ Members of Congregation are reminded that any two members may, not later than noon on 3 March, give notice in writing to the Registrar that they intend to oppose or amend the resolutions at 1 and 2 below (see the note on the conduct of business in Congregation below). If no such notice has been given, and unless Council has declared otherwise or the meeting has been adjourned, the resolutions shall be carried and the meeting may be cancelled.

(1) Voting on a Resolution authorising the use of space at the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter

Explanatory Note

The Department for Primary Care Health Sciences (DPCHS) operates from two sites: New Radcliffe House at the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter and Beaver House on Hythe Bridge Street. On 23 April 2013, Congregation authorised the allocation of the former Outpatient Buildings at the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter to the DPCHS in order that the activities of the DPCHS might be consolidated in one building. The resolution below enables the DPCHS to bring its activities together at the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, prior to its relocation to the Outpatients Buildings in 2015.

Text of Resolution

That approximately 700 sq m net usable area in the Gibson Building be allocated to the Department of Primary Care Health Sciences with effect from 1 April 2014 until 31 August 2015.

(2) Voting on a Resolution authorising the use of space at Osney Mead

Explanatory Note

The Ruskin School of Art requires temporary accommodation while its premises at 128 Bullingdon Road are redeveloped. The Green Shed Building, Osney Mead, has been identified as a suitable space.

Text of Resolution

That approximately 800 sq m net usable area in the Green Shed Building, Osney Mead, be allocated to the Ruskin School of Art from 1 April 2014 to 30 September 2015.
