Research participants sought

The Oxford Pregnancy Study is investigating how anxiety during pregnancy may affect mums and babies. We are currently recruiting women who are pregnant for the first time, are between 18 and 40 years old and speak English fluently. Participation in the study will take approximately 2 hours in total, and all participants will be reimbursed for time and travel expenses. We would like to invite teenagers to participate in a study that looks at social skills development during the teenage years. The study, which will be at the Department of Experimental Psychology, will last approximately 1 hour and participants will be given a £5 Amazon gift voucher. Interested? Oxford University researchers seek healthy volunteers aged 45–70 for study using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Transcranial Current Stimulation (TCS) to examine the brain mechanisms of motor learning and control of movement to compare with individuals with neurological movement disorders. HSPR Experiences of multiple conditions. As part of a National Institute for Health Research project, we are looking to interview (either in person or by telephone) both patients and GPs across the country about their experiences of managing multiple conditions, and to seek their thoughts on what might help them to manage these conditions better. We are interested in speaking to patients with at least two of the following conditions: asthma, COPD, diabetes, epilepsy, heart failure and stroke. We would also like to speak to GPs about the issues they face with patients with these conditions, and what they feel could be changed to improve clinical management and patient outcomes.
