Gazette publication arrangements

The final Gazettes of Trinity term will be published on 5 and 19 July.

The first Gazette of Michaelmas term will be published on 20 September, but will be limited to Council and Congregation business and changes to Examination Regulations. The first full Gazette of next term will be published on 27 September.

The Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Board has conferred the Headship of the Department of Plant Sciences upon Liam Dolan, BSc MSc Dub, PhD Pennsylvania, Sherardian Professor of Botany and Fellow of Magdalen, for a period of three years from 1 October 2012.

The Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Board has conferred the Headship of the Department of Statistics upon Geoffrey K Nicholls, BSc Canterbury New Zealand, PhD Camb, University Lecturer in Statistics and Fellow of St Peter's, for a period of three years from 1 October 2012.
