St John's

Medieval vestments

The college intends to open to the public its collection of medieval vestments on Saturday, 3 March, from 2 pm until 5 pm.  The collection is displayed in the Garden Quadrangle and entrance, free of charge, will be via the Main Lodge.

Musical Events

New College

1 Mar., 8 pm: Organ recital in New College Chapel. Steven Grahl will play a programme of works by J S Bach. Everyone welcome; no charge. See: www.newcollegechoir.com.

11 Mar., 3 pm: New College Choir: Bach's St John Passion in New College Chapel (with a short meditation by The Revd Dr Erica Longfellow). Some (free) chapel tickets available to the public. 25 Feb., 7.30 pm: 'From West to East...' Christian Fellner (bass) and Neus Guiu Ritort (piano) perform settings of Goethe, Schiller, Shakespeare and Alexander Blok by Franz Schubert, Gerald Finzi and Georgii Sviridov.
