Changes in RegulationsThe following changes in regulations made by the Education Committee of Council, and, with the approval, where appropriate, of the Education Committee, and, where applicable, of divisional boards, the following changes in regulations made by the Continuing Education Board and boards of faculties will come into effect on 6 November. 1 Education CommitteeRegulations for the conduct of university examinationsWith immediate effectIn Examination Regulations, 2009, p. 40, delete ll. 23–33 and insert: '14.5. (1) Except in cases to which regulations 11.2–11.7 or 14.3 and 14.4 above apply a candidate who fails to appear for any part of a University Examination (including a viva voce examination other than as specified in (2) below) will be deemed to have failed the entire Examination or, in the case of a Second Public Examination taken over more than one year, the entire Part of the Examination.
