Stipendiary Lecturership in Biochemistry (for preclinical Medical Students)

Christ Church proposes to appoint a Lecturer to provide one hour of tutorial teaching in Biochemistry per week to undergraduates reading Medical Sciences and to share other tutorial responsibilities for an initial period of one year from 1 October 2010. Applicants should be able to teach all aspects of Biochemistry for first-year BM part 1. Applicants should have a good honours degree in biochemistry or subject in which biochemistry was a major component and should have completed, or be near completion of, a postgraduate degree in biochemistry or a related subject.

The stipend for the lecturership will be paid at Point 1 of the lecturers' incremental scale (currently £2,023 per annum) with additional benefits. The person(s) appointed may be expected take part in the admissions process for entry for preclinical medicine.
