Professorship of EconomicsIn association with All Souls CollegeThe University intends to make an appointment to the Professorship of Economics as soon as possible. The professor will make a major contribution to the research and teaching achievements of the Department of Economics, providing academic leadership in his/her specialist field of interest. The successful applicant will have a substantial international reputation in scholarship and research in Economics, evinced by an excellent publication record in international journals. He or she will have the ability to contribute effectively to the long-term development of Economics in Oxford and in the wider academic community and to initiate, maintain and lead a programme of research and teaching at the highest level.
