GENERAL NOTICESLanguage Centre: Writing a Thesis or DissertationThis one-week, fifteen-hour intensive course is specially designed to enable those with heavy schedules to take the course in academic writing. The programme is similar to that covered in the Hilary Term course. Topics dealt with include: writing a thesis introduction, discussion, conclusion, abstract, and reviewing the literature. The course will be held in week 9 of Hilary Term, Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. daily. Registration for the course may be arranged by e-mailing admin@lang.ox.ac.uk, telephoning Oxford (2)83360, or by visiting the Language Centre. The registration fee is £100. Queen's CollegeTHE CHOIR OF QUEEN'S COLLEGE will perform Frank Martin's Mass for Double Choir at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday, 6 March.
