CONSULTATIVE NOTICECommittee on Statutes before the Privy CouncilGreen Templeton College: revised statutesThe Committee on Statutes before the Privy Council, acting under authority delegated to it by Council, is minded to give consent on behalf of the University to the amendment to the Statutes of Green Templeton College, by the introduction of a new Statute 11, approved by the Governing Body on 18 June 2009, in so far as such consent is required by Section 7 (2) of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act, 1923. The consent of the committee to the amendment to the Statutes will be effective eleven days after publication of this notice unless written notice of a resolution, signed by at least twenty members of Congregation, calling upon Council to withhold that consent, has been given to the Registrar by noon on Monday, 12 July. The effect of the amendment is to introduce an interpretation clause to the statutes.

Action Research Professorship of PaediatricsGEORG ANDREAS PETER HOLLANDER, MD HABIL Basle, Full Professor of Molecular Medicine in Paediatrics, University of Basle, Head of Research, Basle University Children's Hospital, and Visiting Professor, Institute for Genome Research, University of Tokushima, Japan, has been appointed to the Action Research Professorship of Paediatrics in the Department of Paediatrics with effect from 1 September 2010. Professor Hollander will be a fellow of Jesus College. Conferments of the Title of Visiting ProfessorThe Medical Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor of Clinical Neurology on P.M. MATTHEWS, OBE, MD, D.PHIL, FRCP, currently Professor of Clinical Neurosciences, Imperial College, London, and Vice-President for Imaging and Head, GlaxoSmithKline Clinical Imaging Centre, Hammersmith Hospital, for three years from 1 July 2010. On the recommendation of the Saïd Business School, the Social Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor of Accounting on DR RICHARD BARKER, BA Oxf, M.PHIL PH.D Camb, CIMA, from 1 October 2010 to 30 September 2011. On the recommendation of the Law Board, the Social Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor on PROFESSOR C. MITCHELL, LL.M PH.D Lond, MA Oxf, DIP LAW City, from 1 October 2010 to 30 September 2013.
