Stanley Lewis Professorship of Israel StudiesIn association with St Anne's CollegeThe University intends to make an appointment to the Stanley Lewis Professorship of Israel Studies. The post will be based in the School of Interdisciplinary Area Studies and in the Department of Politics and International Relations, or the Department of Sociology, or the Department of Economics. The professorship is associated with a fellowship at St Anne's College. The University will be looking for a scholar of international distinction, with the ability to manage a substantial research programme and to make a major contribution to the long-term development of Israel Studies within the University. The successful candidate will have an excellent record of research and publication in the field. He or she will also teach on graduate and undergraduate teaching programmes in the University, and will be expected to contribute to the leadership of the School, department and college.
