Changes in RegulationsWith the approval, where applicable, of the Education Committee of Council, the following changes in regulations made by divisional boards will come into effect on 31 October. Humanities Board and Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences BoardSpecial Regulations for the Honour School of Physics and PhilosophyWith effect from 1 October 2008 (for first examination in 2009)In Examination Regulations, 2008, p. 440, l. 26, delete 'BT1' and substitute 'BT'. (c) Special Regulations for the Honour School of Mathematics and PhilosophyWith effect from 1 October 2008 (for first examination in Part C in 2009)In Examination Regulations, 2007, p. 351, delete ll. 25–9 and substitute: 'The topic for a Philosophy examination essay in a given subject can be any question set for the most recent examination of that subject in Honour Schools with Philosophy, with the exception of questions for Plato: Republic (115) and Aristotle: Nicomachean Ethics (116) consisting of multiple passages for comment. Candidates may apply for approval of other essay topics by writing to the Chairman of the Board, c/o the'.
