Changes in Regulations

With the approval, where appropriate, of the Education Committee of Council, the following changes in regulations made by the Social Sciences Board will come into effect on 15 May.

Social Sciences Board

(a) Master of Business Administration

With effect from 1 October 2009 (for first examination in 2010)

1 In Examination Regulations, 2008, p. 793, delete ll. 15–18 and substitute:

'(e) Capstone Course lectures and workshops scheduled in the final September session, dates to be advised by the MBA director and candidates notified in the term preceding the commencement date of the course. Details of the Capstone course are set out in the course handbook.'

(b) M.Phil in Migration Studies

With immediate effect

In Examination Regulations, 2008, p. 553, ll. 11–12, delete 'Monday of the fifth week' and substitute 'Tuesday of the second week'.


(c) Special Regulations governing research degrees in Anthropology

With immediate effect

In Examination Regulations, 2008, p. 898, l. 30, and p. 899, ll. 9–10, delete 'Graduate Studies Office, Wellington Square' and substitute 'Departmental Office, Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology'.
