GENERAL NOTICES

Language Teaching Centre: English for Academic Visitors and Postdoctoral Researchers

This three-week course will be held from 6 July to 24 July, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9.30 a.m.–12.30 p.m.

The course will focus on conversational skills, understanding spoken English and giving spoken presentations, as well as revising basic grammatical structures and improving pronunciation. The fee is £195.

APPOINTMENT

Conferment of the Title of Visiting Professor

The Medical Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor of Musculoskeletal Science on J. CORNISH, B.SC Auckland, M.SC PH.D Calgary, currently Professor in the Department of Medicine, Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Auckland, for two years from 1 July 2009.
