Scholarships and Prizes 2008: Hardship

Wolfson Childcare Bursary 2008–9

The Wolfson Childcare Bursary Fund provides funding to student parents who hold a University nursery place. The Bursary Fund was set up as a result of the generosity of the Wolfson Family Charitable Trust, and is administered by the University's Joint Committee on Student Hardship and Childcare Funds.

Matriculated student parents who hold a University nursery place are eligible to apply. The Bursary awarded is up to half the annual cost of a nursery place. Students will be expected to provide evidence of the actual cost of the nursery place and confirmation that it is a University nursery place. Repeat applications are permitted.

To apply for 2008–9, please complete an application form for either the Access to Learning Fund if you are a UK student, or for the Childcare Relief Fund if you are an EU or Overseas student. Application forms, guidance notes and further information are available from Student Funding Services, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD or student.funding@admin.ox.ac.uk. Complete application forms should be received at Student Funding Services by Friday first week Hilary Term (23 January 2009).
