Kennedy Scholarships and Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships (Harvard/MIT)

Kennedy Scholarships

Up to ten scholarships are offered to British citizens by the Trustees of the Kennedy Memorial Trust for postgraduate study at either Harvard University or the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Candidates must be ordinarily resident in the UK, must have spent at least two of the last five years studying at a university in the UK and must have graduated before taking up their scholarship. The awards cover tuition, health service fees, cost of travel to and from USA, and provide an allowance of $22,000 for the year. See for application forms and further information.

Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships

Five fellowships are available for graduate students from the UK to study for up to two consectutive years in one of the faculties in Harvard. The value of each Fellowship is at least $23,000 plus tuition and health service fees.
