Undergraduate Prizes in Materials

The Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining Prize. This prize is awarded for outstanding overall performance in any Honour School of which Materials is a component. Armourers and Brasiers' Medal and Prize. This prize is awarded for the best research project submitted in the Honour School of Materials Science Part II. Johnson-Matthey Prize. This prize is awarded for best overall performance in Prelims. Armourers and Brasiers' Rolls-Royce Prize. This prize is awarded to two students for excellent performance in Prelims Morgan Advanced Ceramics Prize. This prize is awarded for the best performance in first year practicals. Corus Prize. This prize is awarded for the best overall performance in second year Materials Science practicals. Worshipful Company of Ironmongers Prize. This prize is awarded for the best Materials Science Part II Presentation. QinetiQ Prize. This prize is awarded for the best third year Team Design Project. Department of Materials Annual Prize. This prize is awarded for the greatest improvement between Part I and Part II.

Gibbs Annual Prize. This prize is awarded for the best overall performance in Part I.
