Mrs Claude Beddington Prize in Modern Languages

The prize, value of about £100, will be awarded, if there is a candidate of sufficient merit, by the Moderators in the Preliminary Examination for Modern Languages in Trinity Term to the candidate whose performance in the language specified for the year in that examination, or in any Preliminary Examination of which Modern Languages is a component in the same term, they judge to be the best. The prize will be offered for Italian in 2009, French in 2010, and German in 2011. No special application is required.
