Isaiah Berlin Fund Bursaries 2008–9Applications are invited for Isaiah Berlin Fund Bursaries which will be tenable during the Long Vacation of 2009 or the academic year 2008–9. Those eligible to apply are students working for a research degree of the University in the fields of Italian literature and history, including the history of art. The bursaries will be awarded to assist holders with the costs of short visits to Italy for purposes of study and research in relevant Italian subjects in furtherance of their theses. They will be of a value of not more than £600 each. To apply for a bursary, please complete an application form, which can be downloaded from the Modern Languages faculty Web site www.mod-langs.ox.ac.uk, and send by post or e-mail to Prizes and Awards, Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, 41 Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JF (prizesandawards@mod-langs.ox.ac.uk). The deadline is Friday of of week eight of Hilary Term (Friday, 13 March 2009).
