Scholarships and Prizes 2008: Medieval and Modern Languages

Gerard Davis Prizes

Gerard Davis Prize (Undergraduate)

Up to two prizes, each of £250, will be awarded, if there are candidates of sufficient merit, for the best Extended Essay(s) in French literary studies (broadly interpreted), submitted for the Final Honour School of Modern Languages and all joint schools of which Modern Languages is a component. The awards will be made in Trinity Term. No special application is required.

Gerard Davis Prize (M.St)

A prize of £500 will be awarded, if there are candidates of sufficient merit, for the best dissertation on a topic in French literary studies (broadly interpreted) submitted for the M.St. The award will be made in Trinity Term. No special application is required.
